Rogoznica

A fishing village and tourist centre 34 km from Šibenik in the southernmost part of the region.
It has a well-protected harbor for anchoring smaller and bigger boats. The thick pine forest and “Lungo Mare” walkway are characteristic for Rogoznica. The oldest church, St. John of Trogir, is from 1324.

Rogoznica is a favorite summer resort for lovers of nature and nautical sports at the well-known “Frapa” marina, one of the most beautiful and safest ports on the Adriatic. Beaches in Rogoznica are gravel and there are some rocks while every settlement offers a secluded beach in numerous small bays.
The centre of Rogoznica is located on a peninsula where mainly only old rock houses remain, which gives the Rogoznica waterfront an authentic Mediterranean atmosphere.

The climate is one of the most important and attractive tourist elements. The Rogoznica area sees an average of 2600 sunny hours each year.
